Western Digital Player too hot

NOT exactly the same one as shown here http://www.anandtech.com/show/3830/wd-tv-live-plus-western-digitals-latest-media-player-reviewed/4 ,but one of the older ones that looks EXACTLY like it on the outside and inside. It doesn't connect to the internet or anything, it just plays files off of a thumb/hard drive.

It was getting super hot, so I took it out of the case, and just have it sitting on the shelf.

However, it is still is really hot. In the below picture, does the connector I have in red look like a 4 pin fan connector? I would like to put a small fan on it if I can.

Sorry...not quite sure where I should post this (here or in General Hardware), but I am confident that the MODS will move it if need be 🙂

not sure about the fan connector but my WD TV Live gets hot as well.
That is why I took it out of the plastic case in the first place, and when I saw the 4 pin connector. Maybe I can just have the fan in the room blowing over the board every few seconds 🙂

Or just get some Arctic Silver and redo the heatsink...or get a small fan, and redo the wires so I can plug it into the spare USB port on it.

thank you...good to know I am not the only one with a problem with it.
