i had a wd360 die and did a adv rma , so i wait a week while its processed then they say its delayed 2 more weeks.

what kind of crap are they running. i know why i buy seagates mostly. WD sure shows they dont want buisness from consumers who buy their high end drives.

not even a email advising of the delay.

I work for them, but have nothing to do with the RMA process.

the 36GB raptor is like the worst raptor ever, besides the 150gb

Umm yeah, they are always selling hard drives for dirt cheap and people think they have the right to complain when their 100 dollar 500gb hard drive breaks down after a year, what do you expect?

I've had more Maxtor HDs fail than WDs. I did have a MyBook fail but the RMA was painless.

Of all HDD's I've worked with, Maxtor by far seems to have the highest crap out rate.

Followed by Seagate and then Westeren Digitals.
