So I bought myself a nice little Dimension 3000 with 512 ram and an 80 gig HD. I have another 80 that I would like to install in the system to keep all my old files on and start "fresh" on the new machine. The problem is I install the second (WD800-JB) in the machine with the first (WD800-BB) as the master and the second as the slave. The first is fine the second just won't recognize in my computer, but will recognize in Device manager. Any ideas? Their both formatted with the NTFS from what i know and this other hard drive works when i put it back in my old machine. THNX in advance

Have you gone into My Computer > Manage > Disk Management? You should be able to see the drive in there and you can see if it has a drive letter and if the file system is recognized.
