Western Digital 800JB??

I was thinking about replacing my two 40gig Maxtor D740X's (RAID 0) with one Western Digital WD800JB so that I could use the Maxtors in other machines. How do you think it would perform compared to the RAID 0 setup? Any disadvantages to making the switch or should I stick with the Maxtors for best performance?
