I got an 80 gb seagate from bb and a 40 gb wd from cc today.

Any idea what size platters these drives use? AFAIK, all HD mfg's were using 60 and 66GB platters, and have mostly transitioned over to 80 and 83GB by now.

If someone buys one of these, can you install HDTach 2.61 and tell us what the STR graph start and end numbers are? That will help to narrow down what size platters they have. Thanks.
