Why is it only 1 year for WD?? Even my OEM bought from ZZF has 3 yrs warranty. I guess the drive I bought is newer model, SATA II with 16 meg of cache

16mb against 8mb can mean nothing. The samsung drive has better performance then most 16mb drives. Just need to search the review sites. Just got rid of a maxtor deal I found on here 3 weeks ago due to a bad block on the disk, Totally wasted my Data.
