History of drive unknown.
10GB WD HD, when I hook it up, and my PC posts, it sees it. It doesn't see it as a WD HD, it has a strange serial # and model number.
If i play with it in fdisk, i can only get it to partition 1.5GB
If I try to use a WesternDigital disk utility, it wont do anything, as it thinks it is not a WD drive.
Is there a utility out there, buy or free, that will just write zeros to the HD (no matter the brand), or is there something else I should try?
