That is a tremendous boost from the beta to the production model. Why on Earth would they let beta numbers be released just a few days before this was available when the beta numbers were so bad?

It even beats all the SCSI drives in several tests (even the 15K rpm models):
SR HighEnd Drivemark 2002
SR Bootup Drivemark 2002
ZD Business 99
And it got near 1st place in a few more.

Oh well time for Pariah to march in and say the SR 2002 Drivemarks are useless since they are so old and no one ever uses those programs.

Any chance of AT re-reviewing the Raptor with a non-BETA drive at this point like SR did? I think the Raptor deserves a second look now that things have been ironed out.
