Westell Versalink VS D-Link Wireless Router

Hello,
I have verizon DSL and it comes with a DSL Modem/Wireless Router All-in-one Westell Versalink 327W, and I was wondering if the Westell's are any good compared to a D-Link or Netgear, my Wireless network has decent range but I was thinking about switched to a D-link wireless router and adding a D-Link Extender. Any thoughts. Thank you

LOL. The typical American solution is to run to the Mall and buy something.

Howvever, in order to trustfully answer your question I would have to rewrite the "Bible".

There are many ways to solve Entry Level Wireless coverage distance issues. The Correct choice depends on every specific environment and the specific needs.

As an example, the first option that I would look at would be to leave the system as is. Buy one High Power Wireless Router (like Buffalo WHR HP G54). Use a CAT5e cable to install the new Router in a better clear area as far as you reasonably can with a cable, connect it to the Westell, and configure the new Wireless Router as an Access s point.

So, as you see I already wrote the first part of the first chapter of the ?Bible?, and I might be totally off the wall suggesting this solution because it might not fit your environment.

Hmm, Thanks, it is clear you know your stuff. Can you give me your opinion of Dlink, Netgear, Buffalo, and Linksys. Is one brand generally better then the others.!
