Westboro Baptist Church coming to VT...supposedly 4/16 was due to a lack of faith...

One of my friends was browsing through facebook and saw that these idiots are coming to our school to picket. They're claiming that the shooting happened because students have a complete lack of faith in the man upstairs. I can't figure out how these people can justify pulling this sort of garbage and how their home town (topeka) hasn't hired a certain professional to deal with them.

What pisses me off even more is that they have raised their kids to be just as blind and hateful as they are. Why oh why do these people continue with their bullshit?

Similar thing happened back in 03 or 04... They had people stand on the drillfield with gigantic photographs of aborted fetuses. A small truck drove around the campus with the same pictures. I think, in general, most people ignored them.

My high school tried to start up some gay club, which got rejected, and became national news. A bit after, some anti-gay group protested outside our high school. It was actually pretty non-eventful and they looked pretty pitiful.
