West Wing Live Debate

Possibly the worst idea ever. Don't they realize nobody watches the REAL debates because they're boring? They tried to spice it up, but it just seemed cheesy. I think the commercial breaks were better than the episode. I miss seasons 1-4. 🙁

I don't watch the West Wing so I didn't know they were on it, and was just like WTF is this?

I watched it and thought it was freaking awesome. it was done live not once but twice (for the west coast). too bad the real canidates cant have a debate like that.

Yea I think that was the thing. To show the REAL behind as most just have single ietms on memory they just reproduce over and over.

I whonder what was different between east and west? I think they said there was gonna be something a littel different.

When I used to watch the West Wing, I never thought they'd have to resort to a gimick like this one.

It was pretty cool

And yes more this sshould lead into some GREAT episodes for the campain.

And I think that Santos won. (he is gonna win the election so that is how they did it.)

It was entertaining at times, but then they threw in the cheesy stuff like the heckler in the audience, the fumbling with the microphones... it just detracted from the show.

I'd watch the real presidential debates if they were like this ep

It had its good elements but I thought the candidates acted kind of babyish. We have seen Santos/Vinick meet before in that deserted hotel in Iowa and they were perfectly civilized. I don't think it would turn into such a shouting match.
