West on the Attack!

West seems like a slow adult sometimes. My partners at work get his campaign donation solicitations and they read like they were written by a 6th grader with OCD.

I have never seen a more thin-skinned, paranoid politician. West is notorious for being a guy who can dish it out but not take it, and this is just another example.

No- you spewed, as usual.

Spewed what?

I posted a link that covers the issues the same, and maybe even in more detail, than the link you provided. The only difference is I like the guy. You do not.

I think he, LtCol West, will find out that it is best to let these things go but he is new and still thinks of himself as an active duty warrior. He will learn that ignoring his fellow members on the other side is the best action.

Wait... who?

No, no - it's Adam West....

You spewed the usual tea party slant. You apparently like the guy because he's a thin skinned idiot. I linked the actual remarks that West found so horribly vile. No rational person would take such offense, nor defend anybody who did. The guy is a looney tune, and his admirers not far behind.

...and I feel the same about those that like our current Fool, Bobo, the Post Turtle.

Let the games begin.

Yes, I'm fully aware that you feel rather than think...

And duck straight into the Bunker O' Denial when confronted, hurling insults over your shoulder as you dive in head first...

Anybody with the social grace that God gave to syphilis can see that West over reacted horribly and irrationally, but that apparently doesn't include you...

Not quite. I think he over re-acted and will learn from his "mistake" but I still like him, maybe even more, for reverting to type. I love the warrior type.

Huh - I didn't know he walked around wearing his military service badges. That is obnoxious and particularly goofy considering how his career ended.

It's ironic that in that very video, he made a gratuitous personal insult on the representative from Vermont (making fun of his baldness), but he then became totally unhinged by a fair, relevant criticism by his fellow Florida representative. He really is remarkably narcissistic even by the standards of politicians.

He doesn't strike me as the "warrior type." He seems like a total punk, making fun of others then, moments later, violently overreacting to legitimate criticism and complaining to House leadership. I don't know about you, but when I was a military officer I was told to handle problems at the lowest possible level by talking to the person I thought had done wrong, not whining to leadership every time. This is the behavior of the "thin-skinned pussy type," not the "warrior type."

We shall see.

I agree that wearing all those military badges is a bit much, especially since he was not a Marine, but it doesn't hurt anyone, now does it?

Well, maybe we will see, as a South Florida congressman who represents many elderly constituents. In 2012, Allen West may achieve the distinction of not being reelected.

Thereafter ole Allen can say whatever, but it will no longer matter.

I agree. His job is up to those that vote in his district.

At least he had the class to go directly to her, unlike her as she waited until he left the room, then attacked him.
Dayyyyyyyymn. Did he attach his balls in the e-mail he sent to her too?

I don't see how she could have "gone directly to him" when she herself had to wait to be recognized to speak. I also don't see why she would have had any reason to in order to show "class" - there was no "attack," nor anything in any way inappropriate or insulting about her expressing surprise about his position. Moreover, he "went directly to her" by sending an email and notifying House leadership about her proposed sleight. It seems to me any mature person would, if he felt she had treated him unfairly (which she did not), have simply called her.

As I said above, his behavior was neither "classy" (this is the same man who called the then-Speaker of the House "garbage") nor brave - these were the actions of a complete thin-skinned pussy. West is not a man to be admired in any form or fashion.

Waited? What indication is there at all that she waited rather than speaking when her turn came up, or that she even knew he'd left the room at the time?

Oh, wait, there aren't any...

Nor is the thin skinned and egotistical West the only south Florida repub in the HOR, either... just the only one whose balls are bigger than his brains.
