Does anyone live West Chester? Can you tell me what it is like? My ex-wife is moving there. I want to know what it is like there since she is taking my children with her.

Also wonder what the neighborhood is like near E. Marshall St.

Most parts of it is a college town, with many historic areas/old houses. There are a few bad spots but not many. I don't know it well enough to tell you what E. Marshall St. is like.
 
Eh, i don't spend a lot of time down there. it's very close to the city of Philadelphia. THere are some bad parts here and there, but im not really familiar with the area
 
topic caught my eye..i'm about 30 minutes from there, in landenberg.

can't really tell you much about it though. i bounce between here and boston, and don't really spend much time around west chester.

i think it's the home of qvc.
 
It's not "very" close to Philly at all.

I grew up not far from there. Downtown is okay and there are some really nice areas - especially where the horse farms are located. The schools are pretty good. It's less than an hour from Philly. It's 20 Minutes from King of Prussia (huge mall). It's very close to Great Valley Corporate Center (lots of Pharm & Tech jobs)
