Lowe's has the Werner 13' Aluminum Multi-purpose Telescoping Ladder MT-13 for $59. This sells for well over $100 everywhere else. Rated for 300lbs. I have a ladder like these from a Home Depot deal long ago (2005) and it's great. So many ways to use it.

I don't know if this is national. It is advertised in Tallahassee newspaper this morning.

"The Werner 13-foot Type 1A 300-pound duty rating telescoping multiladder can convert into a 3- to 5-foot stepladder strong enough to hold two people; a 7- to 11-foot extension ladder, or 1- to 2-foot scaffold. Adjust the height easily with the spring-loaded J locks, and use the set of hinges to separate out the ladder into two stepladders, with just a plank required to use them as scaffolding. The ladder has 13 different working heights or positions, double-riveted steps for maximum durability, and an extra-wide flared bottom to provide firm support."

Online zip code searcher reflects the 59.00 price in Tallahassee, 99.00 at my local store (Cotati, CA). Hot deal for those who can get that price... maybe it'll drop here too.

Sorry. 🙁 Vacaville, San Bruno and Antioch all show $59.

I checked a few zips and it's $59 in the ones I checked in MD, AL, VA, and NC.

hmm that link died in a hurry!

Wonder if it's a price mistake and got pulled. The page came in at first but then stopped.

I'll run by after work and check the store as it was showing $59 for me too. This would come in handy.

Thanks allisolm!

Anyone know if this thing is small enough to fit in a car? I'd like to swing by and pick one up, but I don't have a truck. Since it's foldable, I thought it might fit in my back seat.

Looks like it's 3' tall at its smallest setting so I would say it will fit in a car no problem. If not, pick up some bungee cords while at Lowe's to hold your trunk down

I don't have a Werner, but my Gorilla 13' one is about 8" by 42" folded up.

Okay, so I can't resist a deal on something practical - even if I don't really need it.

I had my eye out for one of the Gorilla brand 13' fiberglass that are very similar to this - they have been on clearance at HD for about $40. None left in my area that i could find. So I ended up getting this one. BTW - I'm in Houston and Bunker Hill & I10 location has lots.

35lbs seems about right. Its definitely got some heft to it and seems solidly built. The dimensions given above are about right too.

I think it should fit fine in the backseat of any car. I brought mine home in the backseat of an older Tacoma, which is about the same (or small?) than most cars.

Thanks Allisolm - my GF is gonna be pissed 🙁

I too had been waiting for a deal on one of these type ladders.

Somewhat disappointing that the price tag says "Everyday Price" or something like that but still a very nice unit.

Thanks to the OP.

I bought one yesterday for $59.00 at Lowe's South Merrimack, NH store.

I notice this morning that the Home Depot in Nashua,NH is carrying the "Gorilla" 13'
for the same price.

Now my problem, Home Depot is also selling the 17" "Gorilla" for $99.00, which includes the step/work tray and the stabilizer bar.

The tray cost about $35 and the bar is about $20 if bought seperately.

How does Gorilla compare to Werner for quality?

Well I picked one up the day this was posted and it said "special limited time pricing" or something along those lines. Weird!

Rachet, one of our customers keeps a Gorilla on sight for antenna adjustments and the build quality seems fine. This Gorilla model may be a bit longer than 17' but if it is not by much. It is very heavy!!!

I work for Home Depot and just saw that we are new selling these for $59.99 in our store as well. It used to be 99.99. If your Lowes is out of stock, bring proof of the price over to Home Depot and we'll match it and take an additional 10% off if your store hasn't dropped the price yet.

Just add to cart via Tallahassee site and when you pay/check out, check the pick up at store box and all of your info transfers to your local store. Print out receipt with your "Pickup Confirmation Number" and go pick it up. Worked for me 🙂

Thanks to everyone.

I was going to go to Lowes for this deal, but then read at the end of the thread
about the basically similar specification Gorilla model at Home Depot for the same
price. So I got the Gorilla at Home Depot since they're a lot closer to my
house.

Now I can finally get all my "I'd need a ladder for that...." chores done!
