Were you ever sent to the principal when you were in school?

I was - once. My friends and I went through this phase of pushing each others' chairs out from under them in the cafeteria. I had it done to me a couple times, so I decided to get back at one of the kids who did it to me. As he was sitting down, I pushed his chair away with my foot. He fell backwards onto the floor and hit the back of his head on the ground. He started crying and of course that brought the cafeteria monitors over.

They 'escorted' me down to the principal's office, and I sat there for the rest of lunch. One lady came by to yell at me, but I never had to go see the principal and I went back to class after lunch, never to hear about the incident again.

This was in fifth grade, by the way.

Your turn!

No, I was pretty much perfect in school when I was there (2nd - 5th grade).

Closest I ever came to getting in trouble was leaving the classroom once without telling the teacher I was leaving.

That was back when I was terrified of getting in trouble. Once at a parent/teacher meeting a teacher told my parents that I had said something disrespectful to her. She didn't remember what I had said, but she told my parents anyway. For several days afterwards I was interrogated nightly by my parents. I had no clue what she was talking about, but they didn't believe me. They had me in tears every night trying to drag it out of me. Eventually I had to apologize to the teacher, though I hadn't a clue what I was apologizing for. To this day I have no clue what I supposedly said, or if it was even me (I was a fvcking angel in grade school, I can't imagine what I might have said).

Yes, twice.

Once for pulling a chair out from under a girl (1st grade).

Another time for getting 120/100 on a big test. Nailed every question & all the extra credit. He wanted to congradulate me personally :) (4th grade)

I was sent a couple of times to the principal for being so darn smart! We had to discuss how to further my education. :)

Now look at me. What happened?

That being said, I lived across the street from the principal's worst nightmare. That kid did EVERYTHING wrong. I hung out with him often, much to the consternation of my parents, but I eventually stopped. I think his influence was why I'm such an awful person now. ;)

yep... told my health teacher he was complete asshole in front of the class when he was yelling at me for doing homework for another class. He wanted me to hand it over to him... (it was math) I would have gladly listened to him when if it wasnt for the fact that their were several other kids doing the same thing but he didnt do anything about them because he was scared of them to start some crap if he messed with the "bad" kids so he picked on me instead... i thought it was such bs so i made a huge fuss over it and just told him to shove it and i wouldnt give you my homework. He tried to grab it from me but i ran around the class room while he chased me.. he caught me but never got my homework :)

So thus i ended up seeing mr. prinicple. of course he didnt want to hear my reasoning behind my actions... scolded me and that was that.

oh the bastard also told my math teacher... he was like so your health teacher told me you were doing my homework during his classtime. I'm like yeah... and he said you still have it .. im like yep. He smirked and was like good job! at least you did my homework. AHAHHAHAHAHAH.

this was 7th grade i think.. maybe 6th hmm.

other times in elementry school for stupid fights.. nothing to serious. small 2 day suspesion.

Yeah. In 5th grade, me and some friends would always trash the boys bathroom by wetting those brown paper towels and throwing them up against the wall. One day, we got caught. Our principal would always make us do book reports.

Once in 3rd grade for shootiing a rubber band at someone. Another time they had the half a dozen kids in the gifted program which meant we got to go to the computer lab and play learning games.

Yeah, I was always the perfect angel in grade school too. My teachers would always have great things to say about me during PT conferences, but that one day was like a nightmare in an otherwise unscathed grade school career! :)

Food fights, yelling out the windows, throwing things out the windows, shoving a kid into the wall, etc.

I only had to go once in HS. Mostly because i was the mastermind behind everything, and the other guys did the dirty work for me.

Man times, but here are some highlights.

Our lunch tables were on wheels, and when you released a lever in the middle they rolled nicely. We got the table out of the cafeteria, down a hall of classrooms, and out the front door. We got caught on our way back inside.

In shop class we had this cronic flunker, who was apparently trying to pass school by sitting in the woodshop and auto shop. He constantly tormented everyone in there. I took a wire from my 3HP Lawnmower engine (connected to the spark plug), and stuck it where his saggy pants had vacated. At the same time, my buddy pulled the recoil, and gave him a little zap. I got a black eye and a detention. He got suspended once again.

In woodshop, I was making a leg for a table when I got this "great" idea. Basically, I made a dildo, and my genius friend gave it to the principal's daughter. We both got talked to for quite a while.

Probably about 10 times? Only received an actual punishment once. I always talked my way out of trouble.

I went to grade school in the early sixties, when things were quite a bit different than they are now. I was bored to death in grade school and probably spent at least one afternoon a week in the principal's office. Nothing too serious, I would just screw around if I got bored. I knew how far to push it and never got suspended.

The waiting room had two wooden benches like church pews. You always had to wait at least a half hour to see the principal. His office was dark with the drapes drawn (I ultimately realized he drew the drapes for the intimidation factor, ordinarily they were open). Mr. Fletcher (I still remember his name 40 years later) and I had quite a few discussions.

These days they would probably drug a kid like me into a stupor.

All the time. I kept challenging my teachers/textbook, and they'd get all pissy that I was right.

When you're in third grade and on a first-name basis with the principal, it's either really good or really bad. :p
