I remember one incident. There was this kid named Albert Pinkerton who sat in the front of the room. He weighed 85 lbs, had finger nails longer than a girls and wore Prince and Michael Jackson t-shirts all time. He loved Michael Jackson. Also, he had a bowl hair cut. And, he wore tight a$$ purple pants with a black belt. We were all 16 yrs old at the time. And yes it was the late 80's!! Anyway, the bullys name was Tony Trainor and thsi guy was a hard a$$! He was doing all kinds of crazy sh*t!! He would always fight the black students. We'll he's dead now. Someone stabbed him to death. We'll anyway.......

As I stated earlier Albert was sitting in the front of the class. He had his purple rain shirt on, his finger nails were nice and polished, and so on... We'll our teacher had to leave the classroom for about 5 minutes. He told us to keep working, as he'll be back. I guess Tony saw a opportunity because he picked up his thick History book, walked slowly behind Albert's head and WACKED him so hard that he flew of the chair. We'll he started to cry and scream. And Tony just went nuts. He started to beat the crap out of this guy. It was funny then, but now that I look back at that incident I'm kinda feel sad for Albert. Oh yea, Tony was suspended from school for a month!!!

to answer your question no-- but i wasnt a nerd, freak, or dork. I was just one of the "smart people".. i also played sports (lacrosse, soccer and track) so that kept my reputation up somewhat.

I didn't think about it that way. I know that some people were probably vicitimized in high school, but I didn't think it went on that much anymore. I could be wrong. 🙁

Maybe...I'd hope most of them see it as in the past and are able to laugh about it (Ha ha...you may have been able to beat me up then but now you're *poor*!)

Remember that there are loads of high school kids on this board though...

Ah...and to answer the question. I went to a high school that had so many smart people, it was crazy...If you singled out one "nerd, freak, dork" there'd be a dozen telling you to stop.
 
no... i was the secret "computer guy"... nobody knew until i declared my course for college

but i did pick heavily on the categorized "geeks" about as much as others... nothing life ruining but in all fun
 
That story is pretty damn sad, I can't help but to feel sorry for the guy. It's the crap like that that could make a kid snap and cause harm to himself and/or others.

Yea, I forgot about that. I'm able to look back at my high school years and laugh at all that happened. But some teenagers don't have it so good.

Attempted once... but never again. Here's a tip to all you bullies out there: if you want to stomp someone into a bloody pulp, atleast make sure you're NOT A FREAKIN WUSS. He wasn't seriously wounded, but his pride was wounded too the quick. 😀

Hmm, let's see. I am white, 5'2, 85lbs, not a geek, just get straight A's. Worst I've got is like the wrestlers think it's fun to use me as a doll and like throw me up in the air and crap.. It doesn't hurt, hell, this one guy used to benchpress me when we had to go in the weightroom.

I was picked on a lot, but only really hit once. In 9th grade some people thought it was funny to knock me down in gym. I did outrun them once, which is funny since I play no sports and they were all jocks. f*cking losers, the lot of 'em!

I' m soory to hear that MajesticMoose. Hey if your still in high school why don't you pay for a body guard!!! You ever see My bodyguard? It's an old movie with Matt Daemon in it. Matt is this bull and this nerdy fellow get's the school psycho to protect him. It works out pretty good, till Matt Daemon get's a body guard of his own. This big bald dude is Matt's body guard!! Good movie!!

Buy yourself a body guard!!! 🙂
 
I was a freak in high school...lotsa peoples tried to beat me up/harass me...just cause I was different.
Most did not succeed...the few who did, well let's just say I still got their names on my list. Those that haven't already been X'd off😉
 
Hell, I was the biggest dork/nerd on campus, and I was glorified for it. I was always at assembly doing stupid human tricks, I was the resident "computer guy" on and off campus, and got voted class clown senior year. I miss HS. 🙁
 
I got beat up because I wasn't me. 🙁

This was in 4th or 5th grade and one of the rich, snotty kids got a new pair of white , spotless, sneakers.. Jordans, IIRC.
One of the rebellious kids got tired of the guy's "better-than-you" attitude and (heaven forbid) stomped in some mud and walked over those new sneakers. Somehow, he mistook me for the mud stomper and the next day on the playground, shoved me to the ground and punched me a couple of times. I didn't find out why I was being beat up until afterwards.. other than both being asian, I can't exactly figure how you could confuse us two!

no, seeing as I could kick the ass of most of the jocks at my school with the exception of the varsitiy line backers. I am 6'1" and 210 lbs 🙂

I'm small, 5'6 130 pounds....I know about computers, and everyone knows it, but I don't get beat up cuz I'm popular so if you touched me you wouldn't last long 🙂
