We're getting rid of our hand-me-down metal cabinets with shelves for APC racks, kvm and UPS. We're also upgrading our core access switches from 2948G to a 4506 chasis. Are you guys happy for me? I've been working in my firm for 1.5 years and these equipment have been in place since 1999. We can finally rack mount all the gear.

Although I'd HIGHLY recommend a 6509-e switch with a sup720 over a 4506. You will quickly run out of room with that switch and the 6500 has all kinds of application modules that you may need later down the road (firewall, wireless, WAN, IDS, load balancing, etc)

-edit- avoid the 6513 as it has serious architectural problems.
