Lots of interest in cases around here lately, and this place has quite a few on sale with decent prices. What makes this a hot deal is the selection. If you REALLY want a GREAT case, they have the Supermicro SC750A. Places in it for 10 fans... Numerous reviews on it on the web. I have one, and it is worth every penney of the $159.00. I have never bought from this place, but it looks like they have one of the all-around best websites I have ever seen. Free tech support if you need it, and the shipping costs look about average.

I'm still using the SC-750a I built my Celeron 300a in. It had a Sparkle 300 watt PS and althought it's had several upgrades it's still going strong. I think I paid about $75 for it then and it was a heck of a deal.
Directron is a good place to do business too. I'm not that far away and each time I place an order before noon the stuff shows up the next day using UPS ground.

I am still using the SC750a I bought a couple years ago with a celeron 300a as well. It's been great. It's loud, but nice.

Not to mention this.

Man that thing is ugly.
Horrid
Scary
Should not exist
defies logic
*scream*

Seriously, I've ordered stuff from them before and shipping and cost was great, but they never could send me the size of fan I asked for.

Has anyone had any experience with the Palo Alto PA 810 that they sell there for $139? It has a 120mm exhaust in back combined with a 92 intake in front. I was curious if it is as quiet as the younger brothers. Problem with them is the low power ratings.

I just ordered the M320K from:

https://www.compute-aid.com/orders.htm

I has eight bays and a removable m/b tray
It only cost $35.48
The upgrade to the 350W, Ultra Cool, dual fan, "super noise killer" power supply was only $31.00.
2 extra Sunon case fans $4.00 Ea!....w/ free shipping
Shipping for the case was only about $14.88 according to the UPS calculator likned at their site.

If you click on thier photos of the cases you can get a 360 view.

The total amount for the whole system is about what some people want for the power supply alone.

I hope it's good!

FYI on Directron.

They are a great firm with lots of positive posts. If you are a first time customer you can get up to $10 off of an order over $100. discount link

I am about to order the Fong Kai 320 from them unless something else (like the PA-810) gets my attention.

I've had some dealings with Directron, and I can only give them about a 50/50 rating. Wrong item shipped on one order, an item shipped to me was damaged when I received it and when I sent it back, it was returned to me damaged more than the first time with a note saying it was packed improperly (was in same box I received it in). Phone support was spotty at best, and replies to email took a week on more than one occaision.

The prices are pretty decent at Directron. But what I'm really impressed with is the web site itself. Nice selection and good info. and pics. All too often you find cases with no pics, info, specs, etc. and you have no idea what you're actually getting. In the very least it's a great resource for research. I've got an Antec 1030B, Supermicro 750, and an Inwin Q500. The Antec has been my favorite to work with. My next one will be from Directron.com Thanks for the heads up.

One thing I like about this company is they actually lets you choose hardware by color. If you want to put together an all black system...this is the place to do it. Pretty sweet.

4estGimp-

My experience with those cases: They're just fine, as cheeeep cases go, but certainly don't stand up to the big boys! I've used similar to that one for systems to sell, though, and had no real problems. Be careful when working in it, though, as they tend to have edges roughly as sharp as... well, sharp metal edges! ;) I got myself a nice set of stitches once, when I jerked a "stuck" drive a little too hard in a cheap case and banged my hand against a sharp edge! BTW- the case you're looking at is often sold under the "Diamond" or "Elite" brand names, and its relatives can be found all over (compgeeks often has them, as does pcbroker and others)

Almost committed to the opened Enlight cases but shipping came out to be $30 bucks for 2 cases. There was a spot for a coupon, anyone heard of a coupon for this place? A free shipping coupon would rock!

I'm here in Houston and I've actuallty been to Directron's store. I bought my Antec SX1030 from them last month after Onvia cancelled my order after a week. I called to verify the they had the SX1030 in stock and the lady (turned out to be the owner) said yes, I said I was on my way. When I got there they had none in stock. She apologized for the mistake and said more would be here in the morning, but I told her I just drove 40 miles for a product she said was in stock. She said she would ship it to my house for free, I paid, left her store, and had my case 2 days later in perfect condition and at my house.

I am going to get another case from Directron next week. They corrected their error to my satisfaction and I still had my case before I actually needed it and at the lowest price I could find considering Onvia dropped the ball in the first place.

FYI LordSnailz

Here is the discount page you are talking about. Make sure you read all the restrictions such as ordering on weekend, etc.

discount page

By the way they also have a tell a friend discount and repeat buyer discount.

Good luck, I am getting my fk 320 this weekend with the 10% discount. That will cover my shipping.
