Stupid song? Try "Ding Dong Song" by Gunther or "Barbie Girl" by Aqua......it seems truly stupid songs have nothing to do with "American Bands"

I personally thought "We Built This City" is very high on the list.

I got that cassette when it was new at a family Christmas Party from an Aunt and Uncle, and had to hide my distaste a bit at the time.

I may have failed.

I'd never seen that one.

Too funny :)

"In 2011 a Rolling Stone magazine online poll named "We Built This City" as the worst song of the 1980s. The song's winning margin was so large that the magazine reported it "could be the biggest blow-out victory in the history of the Rolling Stone Readers Poll"

Every time * FlyingMachine changed their name, they got worse. I was working in a bakery when that song came out, and the radio station played the fuck out of it. Made me want to stick my head in the donut fryer :^S

They do seem to be set musicians of course, I used to play with a band similar once upon a time.

They change up a bit, was funny when Danny used to call us up and we used to go play and people were pretty much blown away at the result.

At one time I was playing with a few people we'd go play with at a drop at a hat, he'd just call and ask if I could show up at a gig.

We even had a radio station at the time offered to buy us equipment and put us on the road, but everyone were doing family things, or other bands and stuff at the time.

Our keyboard player kicked ass, but he had a pig farm he didn't want to leave, the bass player had his own rock band on the side, but he still showed up most of the time.

Was a really good band whenever we threw it together :)
