Went to update the doors here at work....

We have Prox ID badges and I was updating the doors for some new badges.

Walk out. See security guard. Security guard is playing a PSP, with earbuds in to boot.

I could probably march a herd of Albanian Llamas through and he wouldn't notice.

Reports from others indicate he was 10 minutes late this morning, was also playing PSP this morning and sometime during the middle of the day.

Hope he enjoys not having a job tomorrow.

Disappointing, but in my experience most security guards are the same way. I had a friend (now in Afghanistan) who liked working the night shift, because he could sleep most of the time, and the lights of the delivery truck would wake him up if someone wanted in.

When you hire the new security guard, make sure you tell him "My name is OdiN. Respect my AUTHORITAH."

I can understand that it can be a boring job...I wouldn't mind so much if maybe he had a magazine or something but he was engrossed. He didn't even notice me and it's not like I wasn't making noise.
