I know that jerky is subjective, but I find their Salmon Jerky to be of high quality and consistant as opposed to other brands that have bones in it and often mold. Being vegetarian I am not familiar with the meat jerkys. In the midwest, Trader Joes is about the only place to purchase salmon jerky in a Bricks and Mortar store.
I was looking for beef jerky, so I didn't try the salmon. Have never actually had any dried fish other than some cod once, but it was re-hydrated before cooking.
Anyway, the beef jerky I found at the Florham Park, NJ store was truly awful. It made Jack Links look good. It was gelatinous, sweet... yuck. I should send a bag of this stuff to their corporate HQ to try: http://www.kingscountyjerky.com/
