i agree. for cheap power, domestics are the way to go. i'm not gonna argue with you on that one. i don't know if you remember, but a couple of months ago i was looking to buy an SS. i got all pumped and excited. then i test-drove one. yes, it has power, but it's hard to see over the hood, the interior feels cheap, the shifter is awkward, and the suspension is soft. needless to say, i was disappointed.
personally speaking, when talking about cars i like to have a balance of things - power, speed, handling, quality, etc. and i LOVE turboes. they're very practical and efficient. until they kick in, cars can be practical and chill. once they kick in, it's like an alter ego. not to mention that the cars are lighter overall, and have better handling. imo.
