They did have the Koenigsegg!!! they had it next to Lambos and Ferraris and it just stood out!!

It's a Neon - and they are trying to stay within a certain price point. If I had a choice, I would take the configuration provided over having all windows being manually opened.

If you want a car with good options and good features, you'll have to adjust your price guidelines so that these options will be included. :)

She wanted to go to an auto show to see an SRT4?
Why didn't you guys just go to a dodge dealership? You might have even been able to drive it.

I was there yesterday too. Went with my dad and my cousin.

It was nice, I didn't see anything really interesting or that I haven't seen before. Well, except in the room with the Bentleys and Lambos. The Koenigsegg was nice, they had the Top Gear review playing by the display.

In the 1st Gen Neons (same story) the reason, supposedly, is that the rear windows don't go that far down and that it adds a fair amount of cost to do practically nothing. How often do you need the rear windows down anyway. Ah well, I agree it is stupid, but, really a very minor thing in making a purchase. (I'm pretty sure it wasn't pointed out that when you order 'power accessories/windows' that the back windows are manual... maybe it was, been a while, I just remember thinking it was stupid even with the above reason).

I haven't driven a SRT-4 but I'm guessing it's very noisy inside (not just engine noise, road noise, etc). To me that'd be a bigger issue, would rather have a WRTx or something in that class that's a little more refined. But, I certainly would consider SRT4 if cost was a prime consideration. I hate the rear wing and the backend rides too high off the ground--looks odd.

20K is just a sliver above entry level. Extremely cheap for the performance that car delivers.

Forgot about the M45. My dad wants to get one when he trades in his G35C (in like 2008 or w/e). The BMW 6-Series didn't look too bad either, even though it's too big for my tastes. We didn't look at the Lexus', but we did see the Minis. And wow, they are... mini.

My dad also liked the Ford 500, but I don't see him going after one of those.

I didn't like the Audis. They have no storage in the center console and god-damnit, if I'm gonna drive a $75k car, I wanna be able to put stuff in the center console. Besides that, the A8 was nice, S4 was too tiny for me though.

I was hoping there'd be more concept/future cars there and I was disappointed that all the Porsche's (that I wanted to sit in) were locked.

ya the auto show here really sucks compared to the ones in Detroit, NY, and Los Angles.

the new Audi nose is nasty!!

they had a lot of nice super cars tho.
Porsche Carrera GT, Mercedes SLR, and of course the Koenigsegg.

Either way, 20K is not a lot of money for a new car.

Well I don't much care for nice leather and a smooth ride, so I guess I'll bitch that a new BMW 3 series costs 30 grand
