Went to the LeMans Series championship at Silverstone, England yesterday..

What a day! Only got 3 hours sleep the night before but it was well worth it...

We walked around the whole complex, around 4 miles for the track then all around the other track inside the main one, and all the car parks and that outside it.
In one car park i went to there were atleast 20 lamborghinis out of the 25 cars in that section. Was breathtaking, other than that there were 4 Moslers, 2 GT40's, about 6 Corvettes, 2 Audi R8's, a Mercedes SLR 722, a McLaren F1, Carrera GT and loads more. Not sure whether they were the drivers cars, the teams cars or just alot of rich spectators!

What really amazed me was the new Peugeot HDi FAP cars, they were so silent compared to the other cars, all you could hear were the turbos really, and the air moving over the spoilers, they sounded like a jet going past on the long straights, really impressive.. The Saleens and Corvettes with their V8's sounded so nice aswell, really bassy and effortless, quiet compared to the other cars, seemed to rev quite low aswell. Just flowed out of the corners at about 2000 revs! Hah

Saw one car go off the track, one bump, and one spin, although the safety car was out 2 or 3 times in the 6 hours..

It was heaven for me, i love motorsport. Took 2 GB worth of pics and videos, around 350 pictures and 30 videos. I want to host them somewhere but i don't really have anywhere to put them! Any suggestions?

Yea it was quite an experience, and a bargain at £20 ($40) for the whole weekend, that included 3 practice sessions, qualifying and a warm-up, i only went on the sunday though just to see the actual race..

It did kinda drag on a little towoards the end, 3 hours would have been a nice time, 6 was a bit long... Definately gonna do it again though!

Yeh i have a few more... I'll put them up a bit later maybe or tomorrow..

And no you're not supposed to watch the race from the bridges, they have signs up stating that and the try and block your sight with signs, but... I don't see the danger! 😛

Weather looks nice, which is supposedly unusual whenever the F1 circus comes by. Do you go to the F1 races too?

Yea the weather couldn't have been better.. About 20 degrees celcius, not a cloud in the sky... Really strong winds though..

Nah i've not been to a F1 race, never seemed to be able to justify the 150 odd quid for it! Plus the £30 on petrol for the journey up there..
Would like to go though after that, first time i've been to a race at a track and loved it, i can imagine Formula 1 being quite amazing in that environment!

Just got some of the better pictures developed at 10x8 today! Look good!
