Went to the Bob Dylan concert....

It was disappointing mostly. A few songs were done really well, like All Along the Watchtower, but otherwise it was painful to hear Dylan sing.
And the "band" just wasn't right. The music was good, but it was like Bob was shouting folk songs to match the rock.

The opening band, The Waifs, were awesome though. They played more harmonica than Bob Dylan did.

As one old guy told me "It's not Bob Dylan".

Edit: Oh yeah, Highwater was a good one too .

We'll Sean Delaney did just die. I think he was one of Bob Dylan's good friends.

Well, like Red Dawn said a few weeks ago, he mumbles. That's not so bad by itself, but he also doesn't really sing anymore. He seems to just shout the words out of key, most of the time at least.

The old hippies enjoyed themselves thoroughly though, but I suspect that's a combination of memories and alcohol.
