Went to see Tool in Kansas City last night

And it was amazing! Light show was great, sound was good, and the overall energy from the crowd was something to see.

Anybody else been to see Tool for this tour?

Nice man, I'm jealous . It sucks they aren't touring anywhere close to the Carolina's, but did they play Wings for Marie/10,000 Days?

Haven't seen a show of theirs, yet. I'd like to see a metal concert first.

Awww...I really liked it, but that's because I just recently started listening to Tool. I admit, it took a while for me to get used to it, but once I did...whoa!

Whats wrong with 10,000 Days? I do have to say though that their older stuff is a tad better then their new record, but it's definetly better then anything out today imo.

Don't get me wrong.. 10k days is 100% better than most music out there today in hard rock, but after 5 years, I expected a little bit more than b-sides from Lateralus and stolen riffs from Aenima. My personal choice, I still respect the band and their first 3 albums and one EP still get played quite frequently.

I just expected a little more is all, and with APC broken up there isn't really much of a source of 'new' maynard sounds.
