because i support actual artists, not companies that parasite them

In glasgow, at the old fruitmarket.
I figured i'd post a couple pics, but it turns out the Note 4' camera isn't that good at distance, so instead here is a youtube link..
This guy is Mykal Kilgore;

Sadly, Scott didn't have Robyn Anderson on vocals that night, his main singer(example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXYWDtXbBB0 , but the blonde chick was there (Morgan James: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9C0xGB73Uuc ), plus he had another i didn't know and a third who was a Glasgae local.

I don't particularly care for Morgan, even though she's a sight for the eyes, but that guy Mykal, he KILLED IT. On the video, he doesn't sound half as good, he was on fire that night, i wish they'd let him take over the whole show.

Speaking of, they had a tapper, sax and trombone, upright bass, piano and drums, plus a multi-instrumentalist doing various weird stuff on clarinet, tin flute, bass, etc. just a stage personality, but effective. Also they had 3 cabaret girls, and the choreography was well done.

The band was ok alltogether. No amazing skills from any of them, but a lot of enthusiasm .. but the best thing of the night was the crowd - they loved it, it was amazing to be there.

Twenty pounds each ticket, and the show lasted 70 minutes. Far too short, and no backing bands. Leaving the place at 9.40pm felt rough, but i'm glad i went.

Good show; i was expecting more .. and tbh better, but all in all i'd say 7/10.

I didn't particularly like how they kept switching between 4 frontmen.
Kilgore was WAY better than anyone else, he should have been the focus of the show.
Also, the musicians are clearly no jazz geniuses, and there was a want of soloing.
Stage antics were ok but could be improved with a director.
