Went to see Bowling for Soup (of the "1985" song fame) last night at a bar here, only went cause lil sis whos in high school wanted to go and parents didnt want her to go alone. Well needless to say i felt like a creepy old guy there. I think the average age of the crowd was maybe 13.
The linup was some rapper named Mc Lars, Ritalin Kids, American HiFi, then Bowling for Soup.
Overall the guys put on a pretty decent show. None of the kids there got Mc Lars (he was rapping about shakespere), and frankly ritalin kids sounded like nothing but noise, and hifi had their hit. The highlight definately was BFS though. The guys really seemed to have fun on stage and got the crowed participation going on and the girls serving drinks at the bar were HOT and they got them up on stage to dance and then they got up on the bar next to me and did a little dance.
Not the best concert i've ever been to but definately one of the better bar concerts I've been to. They played to a sold out audience and kept them pretty well entertained. Defiantely got my monies worth, so go see em if your into the punk emo stuff the kids are into these days.
