^BUMP

I got to hang out with a girl I am beginning to like too. :) I will not send pics, sorry.
I told myself that I wouldn't even consider getting out of bachelourdom for quite some time, but this girl is quite awesome. Meh, I don't know.

Learn to play some Jack Johnson songs on that guitar and she'll be in your bed in no time.

Right next to Houston, TX

Surfside is closer to Lake Jackson/Angleton. Galveston is farther East, next to Clear Lake (which isn't so Clear). ;)

Surfside is a bit cleaner, not much, this is oil country, but still better than Galveston.

Is that where "surfers" wait for oil tankers to sail by to produce surf-able waves?

I can imagine what the surf report sounds like...
"This is the surf report for Tuesday. Looks like it's gonna be a good one today. Light off shore winds and 20 oil tankers will make this an epic day."

HAHAHAHA....

Actually that is quite true. We saw some tankers pass by and then some boogie boarders following the waves. hahaha.

Who did you rent the beach house from? I'd like to go there one of these days.

nice, I grew up in Texas and enjoyed fishing at the beach. The good thing about where I live now, is that the beach is 3 miles away and no mosquitos

I don't know the exact rental company. Somebody else from our group organized it, but check this out

Also, BTW, you should allow PM in your Profile Secondary options, so I don't have to BUMP the thread. ;) :p (I mean I don't mind, but this probably could have been PM'ed)

I went to Padre a few weeks ago. There were no mosquitos but a ton of butterflies.

OMG killer butterflys... ;)

Yeah South Padre is quite nice, but a little far for Houston.

I used to live on the East Coast.

Trust me when I say the Chesapeake Bay and the Old Rag Mountains, were some of the best places and most scenic, with the best weather, I have seen in a long time. I don't know about now though, I haven't been back in 15+ years. :(

Yes, I lived in Virginia for over 10 years, very pretty scenery. Too bad the summers and winters are nearly unbearable

I loved them, but I was a kid back then, so I didn't know any better.

My dad was the one who had to slave in the driveway shoveling and throwing rock salt in the winter. I just got to play in the snow.

That being said, I would take Virginia over Texas weather any day of the week.

How cold does it get down there in November\December. I'm from Chicago, I can't imagine it's that bad ever.

If you live in Chicag-a... Texas Winters will be like your summers up there.
