Went to a new coffee house

So my friends and I hit up this new coffee house in our area, and it was freaking EMO as hell. Everyone had on buddy holly glasses, and they served the craziest stuff. While there my friend made some refference to EMO girls being hairy, then said, I think "Emo girls cut their wrists, not their pubic hair"

well, Ive been to the ones closer to here, and they are all normal people there, we just figured we'd switch it up. This place actually served Jones Soda and BAWLS, which was a plus
 
Did they book crappy music talents which sang about metaphysical coffee beans, but you couldn't hear them anyway because the instrumentals blocked out the vocals?

Emo is short for emotional. Its a type of culture and music. Most of Weezer's music is Emo, and poeple who have shaggy hair and wear those thick black rimmed glasses that buddy holly wore are considered Emo

You'll have to excuse us, but some of us have been out of high school for a while. Nobody gives a crap about social classification after high school.

I wasn't being mean, just giving an explination of what it is. I believe it has been around for quite some time however
 
Weezer is not anywhere near emo.

Emo:
Genre of softcore punk music that integrates unenthusiastic melodramatic 17 year olds who dont smile, high pitched overwrought lyrics and inaudible guitar rifts with tight wool sweaters, tighter jeans, itchy scarfs (even in the summer), ripped chucks with favorite bands signature, black square rimmed glasses, and ebony greasy unwashed hair that is required to cover at least 3/5 ths of the face at an angle.
