One of my friends hosted a craw fish boil tonight. He had the craw fish shipped up fresh from New Orleans and cooked them up with corn, three kinds of sausage, garlic, onions and potatoes. It was REALLY good. Just thought I'd share. :p

Sorry, no pics. It was way too dark out and I didn't have my regular camera with me. It was MASSIVE though.

Last crawfish boil I went to, there was a chocolate fountain. I just sat a bit off from the fountain and played chess while eating an assortment of random chocolate-covered items.

Barf. My neighbor did the same thing (shipped in from New Orleans). I stopped by the night of the boil and the smell made me want to vomit.

I hate seafood. Blech.

I'm glad that you enjoyed it though. :D

I have tried it. I have tried it at very, very nice restaurants. I have tried it in Boston and I have had fresh seafood. To me, it is gross. All of it.

I don't like it and I don't feel like I am missing anything.

Whatever the smell was I wasn't eating anything that smelled like that.

Is it safe to eat anything from there right now?

Looked pretty safe to me seeing as all the crawfish were alive before they got cooked. Doesn't get much fresher. :p

Not even remotely close... I'm in eastern Pennsylvania (about 45 minutes north of Philly).

I've always wanted to go to one of those since I saw one on the food channel a few years ago.

Same. Just don't like the taste of any of it. My sense of smell/taste is much more acute than most people though, so I may be tasting something you don't.
