Went through an EZ-Pass lane with no EZ-Pass.. what happens now?

I think your car was stolen. Then recovered out of range of the cameras. Hell if you have a friend with EZ pass, say you had his in the glove comparment.. line it with tin foil and complain it wasent detected cuz of their fault.

Depends where you are at...in florida usually nothing will happen for a 1 or 2 off violation. They usually nail the guy that has been using it for a week or 5 or 6 times a month free then the roll up to his home with a pliers and blowtorch.
 
Here in TX you get about 4-5 "free" passes before they start handing out tickets to your sorry ass. I remember the biggest violator of TX tolls had over $127,000 in outstanding fines and fees due. The cops arrested her at her house while the newspaper was doing a story over her. She stated something to the effect that "I didn't know I had to pay a toll". When asked about the numerous fines and bills she was sent: "uh, I didn't know I had to pay that".
 
IL gets people the best, they wait till you do it tons, they let you do it over and over, then all off a sudden then send you a letter with tons of pics of you running the tolls, and a find for $2000+.... my stupid sister who has NO common sense got a fine of over $3000. IL really makes it seem like they won't do anything, and then just slam you.
 
OH thats bad.

they come to your house and beat you up. Then they take your car and smash it. plus a $1200 fine and your license suspended for 5 years!

My friend did that once - he actually has EZPass, but he was driving a different car and forgot that he didn't have it with him. He just called them and told them what happened, gave them his information, and they said since it was an honest mistake, they wouldn't fine him. Not sure if he ever had to pay the toll.

So if you actually HAVE EZPass, you might be in luck. If you don't, you'll be getting a fine.

Oh I agree, people like my sister deserve what they got, she has no common sense what so ever, I couldnt make a list on 10 pages that would cover all the stupid things shes done.
