Went from Nvidia 8800GTS to Radeon 5870 having PhysX problem with Mass Effect 2

I know that the 5870 doesn't have PhysX but the game keeps shutting down after telling me that it cannot initiate it.

Would anyone know of a solution to resolving this without reinstalling ME2?

Some games need physX installed on your system to run.
If you deleted it after swithcing brands , just reinstall PhysX from gur3d. a later revision than included with ME2
I believe NFS SHift
Metro 2033
Borderlands ?

Its part of the game engine, runtime libraries ,dll calls that look for files installed from the physX package. Driver Sweeper , sweeps them. Or uninstalling physX.

I installed the PhysX drivers from the link nenforcer provided and it worked. In fact, when I turned ME2 on, all of the settings were for my new card.

Thanks again!
