Went from 500GB Momentus to 750GB Scorpio Black, great upgrade!

    This is for a T7200 2.0GHz Core2 laptop (IBM T60) used by my 11 year old.

    I didn't want to spend the dough for a SSD and he just crashed his drive.

    Everything is much more snappy.

    The drive was just under $70 when I purchased it.

    I did the same upgrade (but my Scorpio is 320GB, IIRC) in my Asus EEEPC (original dog slow Atom CPU). The difference is pretty amazing, especially with a lower-end CPU/chipset. Congrats on the "new laptop!"
