So through a friend of a friend I got to "cruise" around in a fully loaded factory loaner CLS 63 with the performance package.
First off, does anyone have about $120K they aren't using?
What a truly amazing car. Violently fast, yet smooth as silk. Even at absurdly high speeds, it never feels the least bit unstable. It also has enough buttons and gadgets to keep the geek in me busy or hours.
The other thing that really stands out are the carbon ceramic brakes, I've never felt a car stop like that. Extremely powerful and again completely stable.
Sadly I didn't have a chance to get behind the wheel but I did up my personal top speed on 4 wheels as a passenger.
It was dark out so I didn't really get any good pics other than the badges on the back and a very blurry shot of the night vision mode on the LCD screen.
