On wednesday nights at 8:00 and on Sunday morning they assembleat the starbucks inthe corner of ventura and topanga. Lots of bikers, about 200 showed up. Lots of HOTT women. I am serious.. some of them ride pocket rockets too. I was just drooling. Cops were around too, some guys got ticketed. Around 10:00 they all took off to race. However they took off in different directions so the cops didnt know if they were going to race down ventura. I didnt want to do that, so I stayed back with ryan. Met another indian guy. It was cool. We talked with a few guys who stayed back. I am serious some of these women really are boneable.

On the way back home; ryan, guar, and I rode down ventura. I broke my bikes virginity there. For the first time I took it past 5000RPM for an extended period. Boy was that fast.. that power kicks in about 6000 and up. I wentup to 7500 RPM before pulling back in. I have to keep it under 8000. Though I wanted to baby the break in I splurged and got it up there along with them. Gaur had an TL1000, damn that thing is fast. Ryan and I have the same bike. Ofcourse his puts out quite a bit more power cause his is modded. Infact mine was the quietst bike of the lot. I couldnt hear my engine with them around.

It was good fun. I wish I had my digital camera so I could have taken pics of the women. But I guess that is for next time.

Hahahaha..... you're in my old neck of the woods. That starbucks was such the teen hangout when it first opened. You'll see some ppl cruise by around in circles. hahahaha

That's cool that you're up there. Some good racing used to go on on Ventura. I got into a wreck on Topanga years back. I've seen ppl race at 2am down ventura (south) and hit around 100-110mph. Crazy.....

Don't dump the bike! ;)

I might have to check that out sometime. I'm usually around that area every couple weekends.

Nah, not into racing bikes. I got a car. :) None of us ever got a bike. Although I would love to have a XBR or a similar sport bike. But no dinero now. Bought a car instead. :D

I would love to see some racing but on ventura.... too many cops around. There's usually 2 patrol cars, sometimes 3 on that corner. one sits at the Starbucks. There's usually one running up and down 1-2 miles on ventura, and then sometimes there's one hiding off of canoga or other side street a little further south.

If you do want to race, you might have to take it over to tampa or reseda closer to chatsworth. Lots of open straight flats. 2 lanes each way. Hardly any cops.... at least ones that I have seen over the years. Their busy nights are usually on friday nights. But keep in mind, you're on a bike and there's lots of side roads. :)

Hehe. That sounds like fun. We have a few intown meets here in Atlanta, but most of the sportbike guys tend to spend all their time up in north GA. Excellent roads up there.

I got to ride a friends TL1000s a while back, they are indeed fast as hell. Not much more top end than my Triumph 900, but more torque down low. You really have to be judicious with your throttle hand or you'll be doing a wheelie in no time on those things.

*sigh* This makes me miss my Triumph...oh well.
