Both fish were small, but my buddie (expert trout hypnotist) about a dozen, one of which was respectable. We had 10 inches of rain in as many days not to long ago, and the creeks were high, and off color, hence the crappy numbers. But, it was fun spending all day in the outdoors and casting the rod.

Atta kid. Fishing is a wonderful sport. I'd love to learn to flyfish. Streams and rivers are so much more appealing to me than lakes and ponds.

It all depends on where you are fishing. I have reeled in 20+ 2-4 lbs rainbow trouts in an hour at BC/Alaska border.

Do they have seats that u can plop into a river and just take a seat while casting? It would be pretty tiring standing around all day wouldn't it?
