how would you not know how much you got paid? do you mean like after all the deductions and stuff? i'm sure it's fine to ask your boss, but don't just ask and leave it up in the air like you did.. try to give a reason why you need to know, otherwise it sounds funny

My boss has to pick it up at our HQ. I work at a different office. So, until he brings it in, I don't know how much I got paid. I am really impatient with my money. I'd like to know ASAP. That's all.

I get paid on commission only. I don't always get the same amount each paycheck.

You don't know your hourly wage and how many hours you worked in the pay period?

EDIT: i see you are on commission. So yo udon't know how much you sold? my GF works on commission only and knows to the dot how much she sold each pay period.
