I bought the wife a Swissgear backpack last year with the Wenger name on it. After using it from May through September, the bottom of the pack tore and the material is somewhat shredded. It's that nylon stuff and it came apart like a rug would because the stitches got ripped out. I called up Wenger and it turns out they have 3 companies that manufacture their packs and this one was made by a company known as Group III International, Ltd.
I was given a second 800 number and upon calling them I got a message that told me to Email my address, warranty info, and send pictures of the damaged item.
Has anyone ever dealt with any of the Wenger companies for warranty support? I'm just wondering if should expect a replacement or expect to be disappointed again with branded product quality.
