Unbelievable that people would start a food fight in Wendy's, one of the finest dining establishments in America. An icon, if you will. Totally uncalled for. What makes them food critics?

A fight broke out at a Wendy's in Queens Village, leaving one of the workers seriously injured. The disturbing scene from inside the Wendy's was captured on a phone on Friday. In the video, you can see the cashier get pummeled to the ground by teenage girls. A Wendy's employee told Fox 5 that it started with one girl attacking the woman and a large group of them jumped in and punched her. The worker said it all began when the group started fighting and throwing food. She was behind the counter when her co-worker walked over to try and stop them, she said.
The woman who was attacked suffered a concussion and is currently unable to work.
Two of the teens have been identified by school officials as students at Martin van Buren High School, which is just down the block. School officials said they are working closely with the NYPD to investigate the incident.

The Wendy's franchise director, Louis Meyer, released a statement that read in part: "This vicious attack on our female employee was shocking and uncalled for. We are cooperating with the police in their investigation and our security camera data and anything else they request will be provided to them."

Around here, Wendy's is one of the worst of the bunch.

I think it's mostly management-caused, but for whatever reason, the local Wendy's all suck.

Wendy's is one of the best out of the fast food chains. but the managment sucks so bad it really drags it down.

What? You've lost your mind. Their burgers are tops and their asian boneless wings are to die for.

And if you disparage them again, I'll pull Bon Qui Qui from that other AWESOME dining establishment(Burger King) and sic her on you.

Yep, any restaurant can be good or bad on any given day, based on the quality of the management and the employees. It really is a management, training, and attitude issue.

Ah hell dude, I'm sorry. I didn't know you drank hydrochloric acid as a child and destroyed your taste buds. :p

Seriously, Wendy's used to be pretty decent. The stores here just suck. The franchise owner started hiring his family to run the stores...and no one gives a shit anymore. They rarely get an order right...from giving you the wrong food, to having it prepared wrong.

It's just NOT worth the hassle of going there anymore.

(but I still like a Frosty on a hot summer day)

Only a little of it. I don't have the patience for "that type" of people. I'd probably have jerked her over the counter and thrown her through a window.

I like Wendy's but I can't forgive them for calling chicken nuggets drenched in sauce a new dish.

News story sounds like something that would happen at the Burger King a block away from me. Kids are loud, annoying, yell, throw stuff, and don't have any respect for the workers or other patrons.
