Not a huge mandate (got about 40% of the vote and doesn't have a majority in the legislature) but pretty massive turnout (75%) (massive compared to the USA) with voting and election processes running smoothly and all losers conceding graciously. We could learn a lot of lessons from them. Hopefully they don't become another puppet state of Red China.

Yeah nice to see. Was the hoping the middle fingers to dictators would continue. Xi Xinping can resolutely eat democracy's balls. Nom nom nom.

I think of it as democracy progressing to allow a third choice.
