I've shared the story here over the years, was awarded custody of my daughter nearly 10 years ago with lots of drama, and today she starts college.

It's gonna just be me & the cats now :brokenheart:

I hope she's out of the "trying to kill herself" phase... i know some kids get out of it by age 12 or so, but some never do...

I seem to have created a bassoonist, she's a music major.

Sorry no pics. And she has a BF, a trumpet player, also a music major, sophomore, same college.

IIRC sorority/fraternity dues aren't the cheapest. So probably.

The fraternity I pledged and de-pledged from doesn't make you pay till you graduate (if money is an issue). Once you get a job, you just owe them and have to start paying.

The fraternity a guy I know makes expenses about equal to what you'd pay living in a dorm on campus.

There's plenty of good Greek life out there, it's just a matter of being smart enough to look for it.
