Welp, infrastructure week is off to a great start again, trump says no deals on infrastructure, drug prices until they drop investigations

Pelosi had a nice exchange with Kellyanne Conway following Donald's temper tantrum.

Josh Dawsey of The Washington Post has revealed a great little anecdote from today’s whirlwind. Apparently, after Trump stomped out of his meeting with Democrats like a petulant child, Trump’s counselor Kellyanne Conway approached Speaker Pelosi and asked her if she’d like to respond to the president’s comments.

“I’ll respond to the president, not staff,” Pelosi said, making it crystal clear how little she thinks of the vile Conway.

“Wow, that’s really pro-woman of you,” Conway responded as if the woman who helped elect and continues to serve an avowed sexual predator and accused rapist cares one bit about the welfare of women.

Got to hand it to Pelosi...She knows how to play this game. She's been playing the game since Conway was in diapers. Conway knows how to be a propagandist and how to get through a CNN interview with Jake Tapper, but she has no idea how to respond, or even how to help the president respond, to someone like Pelosi and her tactics.

She doesn't seem to evoke the visceral scorn and hatred that some do in her position of power. Coservatives have directed their attention to what they consider to be softer targets these days, attacking the youth and idealism of congresswomen Ocasio-Cortez, Omar, and Tlaib. Not to mention it's easier to characterize them as un-American. Not so easy to do with Pelosi.

The Dems need to paint Trump as a childish Do Nothing buffoon who is refusing to serve the people who elected him because he cannot deal with the consequences of committing deeds which could be counted as High Crimes and Misdemeanors.

It is a good idea, but it would be best to leave the "High Crimes and Misdemeanors" part out unless Dems are actually going to impeach, otherwise they are admitting they are not doing their constitutional job either.
Instead just paint him as too incompetent, to lazy, and too emotionally unstable to get the job done. Paint him as being unable to do the job in face of any amount of resistance. All talk, no work. Trump gets so stressed out over any amount of criticism that he needs a vacation every other week, just compare how often he goes golfing to other Presidents! Obama faced large amounts of resistance from Congressional Republicans as well, yet he managed to get quite a bit done. Trump has done little more than complain about how unfair everyone is being.
When the going gets tough, Trump walks out.
Do you want a President that when things are hard whines about how unfair everything is, or one rolls up his sleeves and puts in the extra hours?

That's a shop the hand is way to big to be his.

Those are not full sized pages! Those are post-it notes!

A non-shutdown shutdown might give us the country the impetus to pay attention to the corruption happening. Unfortunately, if Republicans can keep afloat some narrative that this is Democrats' doing, then we might just go further downhill as a country instead.

But transparently we are having a President refusing to serve the country unless Congress abandons their duty to provide oversight on the executive.

I would imagine that Senate Republicans could get behind a infrastructure bill if one of the following three criteria were met: 1) the bulk of the funding went towards things in red states, and/or 2) the bill was paid for by things like sales of federal lands, taxes on remittances to Mexico and Central America, or taxes paid mostly by blue 'tax donor' states, or 3) it contained funding for a border wall.

And even if Trump was poised to sign it, he'll drop the pen if Ann Coulter calls him a pussy.

You forgot Billionaires would own the toll roads that they'd partially fund by a very small amount.

The mentally unstable brat throwing another tantrum, go figure. We should be happy this time he didn't get to take Federal hostages right before a holiday.

Pelosi is right, dipshit needs an intervention. And 99% of the treasonous republican party should get a one way ticket to Antarctica.

Explanation from Schumer right here:

Interesting video.
I did like the way Mike Barnicle referred to this administration when talking with Chuck Schumer:
"We're 2 1/2 years into this experimental presidency,"

I'm an EXTREMELY. STABLE. GENIUS.

And since 40% of the country believes him.. we're in trouble. His base isn't abandoning him no matter what.

The only hope is the Obama Trump voter or millenials/ young voters.
