In fulfilling our commitment to detect and prevent fraud on our customers' payment cards, Wells Fargo regulalrly reviews cardholder activity to identify unusual purchase and ATM transaction patterns. As part of this review process, your Check Card number was identified as being at risk for unauthorized transactions.

As a precautionary measure, we are closing your current card and issuing you a new Check Card with a different card number. Please activate and begin using your new Check Card immediately. As soon as you activate your new card, your old Check Card will be closed. Otherwise your old card will automatically be closed on March 27th, 2006.

Now I have to go around and change my automatic bill pay sh!t.
