i think it depends on if u are going for least amount of wins or % ...there are more games now

the Mets were 40-120
the Tigers are 38-114 with 10 games left

I like Mike Illitch the pizza guy and hockey owner. I hate Mike Illitch the baseball owner. he needs to sell the team now. It's obvious he isn't willing to put forth the $$, time, or effort to make the Tigers a good team. It's okay for the fans to make the tradeoff you speak of. But it is unacceptable if you are an owner. The Red Wings are his first born son and the Tigers are his redheaded step child. It irks me to no end. Alls they do is trade dirt for new, crappier dirt. Fick and Weaver were the only ones sticking up for their team when Sweeney charged Weaver last year. So what do we do? Trade them. Apparently Fick is good enough to start for the playoff bound, best offense in baseball Braves. But he's not good enough for the Tigers. Go figure. And who the hell did they trade Weaver for? Pena? WTF? We had Young and Fick (at the time)??!! Last I checked Pena was in a 2 for 50 slump. I don't care if Weaver is getting shelled with the Spankees. He would still be the best pitcher by far on the Tigers. :|:|

If you have the Mets record right, that means there's only 2 more games now. Winning either one would boast your percentage above the Mets.

And I'd spot the tiggers 5 runs, too.

to go over the .250 mark they have to win 41 games...41 outta 162 is .253
