Apparently, he is upset that he's been used as a tool of propoganda now...yeesh. You go into a dictatorship and you expect something more?

That seems like a pretty slanted article. Is the NY Post always like that?

Anyway, he was misquoted...what's he supposed to do but correct it?

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I am a little leery of the source (the NY Post is not exactly the paper of record), but I sincerely hope this is true. Penn is a talented actor, but what a moron.

Wow, he's even a bigger dumbass than I thought. On well, at least there aren't any pictures of him manning an AA gun in Iraq.

Why would he think he was a Marter...what the hell is a Marter anyway? ....and the article does not offer advice. Sounds like he wants to correct some misquotes.

Talk about a few short

"Meanwhile, officials at the Institute of Public Accuracy, the liberal think-tank that sponsored Penn's trip, were also caught off guard by Iraq's alleged distortions."

Liberal think-tank? Isn't that an oxymoron?

The dude that called into Savage the other day said it best,

Osama Penn Laden

Hopefully he borked his career. He was an excellent actor, but he's an asshat and replaceable.

To bad we weren't fighting or maybe he could be tried for treason :p

Then again look at sorry ass Fonda :disgust:

Why because he doesn't think exactly like you and other Morons such as yourself? Why I might not agree with his conclusions I sure don't see anything wrong with what he did. Frankly I find your attitude and the fscktard that called him Osama Penn Laden more anti American than Penn. Itr's assholes like you and Ashcroft that are going to nuke our rights as an American Citizen. You sir (and I use that term loosely in regards to you) are more traitorous than Sean Penn anyday.

Penn=tool

Best article I've seen all week.

I think he should go back, tell them what he thinks & they can chop off his freakin hand for daring to disagree with a dictator & his paper.

I'd tell you how nice the vantage point is, but I'm sure you're quite familiar with a smiliar view. I don't mean to come accross as a die-hard USA hater, I do believe that our country has done some great things, but we have also done some really horrible things and it irks me to no end that people can selectivly ignore certain facts. An unchecked government is the greatest threat to our freedom and way of life and I find it quite frightening to see those who disagree with what is going on labeled as terrorists or un-patriotic and ignored. I've observed a huge swing in blind patriotism in this country and by being staunchly against the government in my own little way maybe I'm helping to balance things out, or maybe I'm trying to ignore the fact that whatever is done is in vain and ignorance will be the end of our species. Only time will tell.

Yep just as I saw problems with Joseph McCarthy.

Notice the :p

Of course I'm not serious in that he needs to be tried for treason (although Fonda was before my time, from what I've read she certainly should have been). The guy has every right to burn flags or hate the US (not that he does, he may just have a quibble with the Iraq deal) but when he visits the country during the climate it's in right now, he's a dingo. What did he expect? I have no sympathy for the guy getting trashed or ruining his career (which is doubtful, if anything he'll be more popular now with the Hollywood folks). He's got every right to do what he wants, but when he comes back and bitches about what has happened, it's laughable.

And just as an FYI, I'm a stronger supporter of rights than you must think. I get a bad feeling when things such as the bust in Dallas happens. I feel sorry for the folks who live in the jokes of states that are California, New Jersey, and the like, they tend to vote for folks that piss away their rights every day.
