So, someone gave me close to $500 worth of mets tickets to the NLCS. I waited there for 3 hours to find out it was rained out, and the make up game is Friday, sad thing is I can't make it to that game either. Oh well, I might be able to trade them for world series tickets if the mets make it that far.
edit: At least I could watch Lost tonight.

If you can't make it due to the change in time, I don't see a problem with giving them back because you can't make the new time it's scheduled for.

Can't you sell them?

That's the thing, would you sell tickets that your friend gave to you, or would you give them back to him?

I'd probably give them back, especially if the reason he gave them to you is because he couldn't make the game. Maybe he can make it on Friday.

He could have made the game, he just didn't want to.

At least you didn't have $1k worth of Dodgers/Yanks tix that became worthless when they were eliminated (refunded of course, but resale value would have exceeded $2k).

I'd offer them back to my mate. If he didn't want them I'd split the £££ in half and have a good night on the town
