Well, that was pretty awkward.

I was up late this Saturday night. In the middle of a blizzard I hear soemone in our in hall outside of my appartment. It was a totally blitzed/plasterd guy who attended ( or was tryin to) the all night party upstairs. I didn't know what to do. But because it was F'n freezin outside I opened the door. The guy couldn't really talk and it was amazing he was still on his feet. I wasn't afraid of the guy, so I let him in and he sat on a chair and proceeded to fall asleep. I then rang on the other apartments door like mad man. One of the guys came down and apologized profusely and got his friend.

I'm not mad or pissed, somewhat amused perhaps. I like the neighbors (all guys in their early 20's). Always nice and never had any problems with them. They usually have parties every weekend, but nothing crazy. Should I mention it to the neighbor tomorrow? Or just say nothing. I'm inclined to do the later. I'm not going to say anything to our landlord as I don't really care about it. I'm sure the neighbor is mortified beyond believe.

What would you do?

Sounds to me like you did a good thing helping the guy.
If the people upstairs are good people I would let this slide.
Stuff happens.

Freshman year of college (when I was living in dorms), this big (drunk) black guy came into my room (my hall was all pretty friendly so everyone left their doors open-- I didn't know this guy though), climbed up into the empty top bunk (my roommate had joined a fraternity so I had the room for myself spring semester), and fell asleep.

Friends came looking for him later (yelling his name down the hall) and I helped them get him out. Was pretty bizarre.

Did you at least take his wallet and then take nude shots for later blackmail use?

This seems like a fairly normal occurrence. Not sure where the issue is. You used your judgment to help someone, there is no need to feel awkward about it.

I agree you did a solid so the dude wouldn't become a solid. Who wants to deal with a meat Popsicle.

I would ask if their mate got home safe. - This would only strengthen your friendship with your neighbours as you looked after their friend.

I remember when I opened my bedroom door to find one of our neighbors drunk, on his knees, trying to open my bedroom door. We then get into an argument about which one of us is in the wrong house. I had to get my roommate out there to make him realize he was not the one in the right house. I ended up walking him back home and I still don't know how he got in, as a rule we kept the front door locked.

I woke up to some completely naked chick sleeping on the rug in my dormroom. She had no idea where her clothes were, I just let her have some and she left. Pretty freaking embarrassing for her.

If your neighbors are usually good people and they seemed truly apologetic there's no reason to do anything. Stuff happens. As long as it's only something small like this every once and a while there's no reason to get upset.

You did a good thing, just leave it at that.

Well I haven't seen the neighbor yet. Its still snowing. If I had my car in our front driveway I'm sure he'd shovel it out, LOL. Oh well. I'm glad the guy is 'ok' and still not in my living room. A sad example (it seems) that binge drinking is such a big deal these days....
