I was just watching...or at least listening to my XFiles DVD from netflix, and all of a sudden, when Mulder started speaking, it sounded like he had a lump in his throat.
I was like "WTF?" and listened for a couple more minutes..there was something definitely wrong with the voices. They were all about a step or two lower than they should have been.
I cycled through my DSP settings on my Onkyo receiver and it went back to normal. I rewound the disc and the problem didn't come back.
My question is, was it just an odd fluke on the disc, or did my amp spaz out or what? Does anyone know why the DVD's pitch would suddenly drop a notch? It didn't un-sync or anything, it just got...lower.
