since the company has been laying off people and not doing the business w've done in the past, there's a guy from the bank here assessing stuff.
he pulls me off to the side and says that he notices my boss running around doing all kinds of stuff and sees that i'm not really involved with what he's doing. i tell him because my boss doesn't involve me in anything. he then asks if i want to learn or get involved with this stuff. I'm thinking not really because i want out of here because my boss is an idiot, but i say that i would like to learn, etc. because i'm thinking if i say no, i'm going to get fired or laid off.
i do want out of this place but that isn't exactly how i want to do it. i need to have another job lined up before leaving.
anyway, he then says that he will start getting me invloved with this stuff even if my boss doesn't like it. he needs to learn that i am here to help him, not liek take over his job.
this won't take place until after the new year so we'll see what happens.
